How to change your account type on Instagram

From personal to creator account

  1. Go to your profile and tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Switch to professional account.

From personal to business account

  1. Go to your profile and tap Edit profile.
  2. Tap Switch to professional account.

From creator to business account or vice versa

  1. Go to your profile and tap the menu icon in the top right.
  2. Tap Creator tools and controls or Business tools and controls.
